If desired, COLOR #8 automatically optimises your images and offers a selection of manually optimised image templates in twelve categories that you can apply to your image at the click of a button. To change an image template or create your own creative template, you simply switch to expert mode. There, you will find 245 professional image filters in eight categories (“AI filter”, “Masking”, “Denoising/sharpen”, “Geometry”, “Exposure”, “Colour”, “Blur” and “Artistic”). In this way, you can create your own collection of creative image templates. With COLOR #8, you can optimise your images in no time with a single mouse click, with no need for time-consuming image processing with layers and masks. The integrated RAW module is the ideal solution for developing RAW images and has been enhanced with a huge number of new filters, including 18 “neural filters” (AI filters). You want to apply an image template to several images? No problem – COLOR #8 offers a comprehensive batch processing feature that lets you automatically apply any image templates to a large number of images. Do you prefer working from Photoshop or Lightroom? Then simply use the plug-ins for Adobe® Photoshop® CC/Elements and Lightroom Classic® that are included in the installation (CS6 / Elements 11/ LR 4 Classic or later).

Our intelligent colour space (SCA) technology, which we have developed in-house, allows for the finest increments in the colour display and guarantees the optimal use of the colour space. The enhanced “Selective drawing” module gives you even more options for targeting and editing specific areas of your images. Our intelligent brush function automatically detects contours to prevent them from being drawn over. One particular highlight is the composing module with an integrated image collection, broken down into four categories: “Sky”, “Structures”, “Colours” and “Light”. Optimise your workflow with the integrated export interface and transfer images directly to other Accelerated Vision programs such as SHARPEN #5 or BLACK & WHITE #8. If necessary, you can also transfer them to other image editing programs.

The interface is optimally designed for use in HD and ultra HD (4K) resolution. All the main areas can be moved individually, and all the buttons feature interactive explanations (tooltips). The different areas are clearly and logically structured: you can find the presets on the left, the area for editing the current image in the middle and the “Finalise” and “Expert” areas on the right. You can make extensive changes to your image here with just a few clicks. The interface also has an innovative category bar, which you can use to switch the editing categories on and off easily, letting you design your own customised user interface.

Do you prefer working with Lightroom? Then, you can simply use the provided plug-ins for Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom Classic®. Please note that the plug-ins are not installed automatically but are provided in a zip file.
